Vicki Roberts Featuring Cody McCarver
Vicki Roberts grew up in the music industry in Nashville Tn. Her home town is Columbus GA but she was born in Lagrange Ga. She also grew up in Alabama and Florida so I believe it is safe to say that her roots are Southern.
Her father Lee Morris is a Professional Singer/Songwriter & Record Producer.
Vicki has worked over the years as a lead singer and back up vocalist for a variety of Artist including her latest show in November 2012 opening for Country Music Artist Cody McCarver. Cody McCarver replaced original member Chris McDaniel as the keyboard player in Confederate Railroad in 1999, appearing on albums including Cheap Thrills with the group. He released his first solo album in 2006.
Other artist Vicki has worked with are David Frizell, Razzy Bailey, Jack Robertson, Bobby G. Rice and many others while also performing with The M&M Show Band opening for Kool and the Gang and the Guess Who to name a few.
Cody McCarver, Born and raised in Dunlap, Tennessee, Cody McCarver spent 12 years in the multi platinum Country Music band Confederate Railroad. After over 6 million records sold Cody McCarver signed his own recording contract and headed to L.A. to record his self titled solo CD at Capital Studio's in Hollywood. 3 video's reached #1 on CMT Pure and
Cody was named Music Row's Independent Artist 3 consecutive years. His Outlaw approach to his recording's and stage show spawned an acting career for Cody is the movie Cole Younger & the Black Train. Cody also wrote (with Jason Harbour) and recorded the theme song for Cole Younger & the Black Train entitled Outlaws & Trains. The music video also made it to CMT and spawn a tour with David Allan Coe called The Outlaws & Trains Tour.
Cody made his major motion picture acting debut last year in the Lionsgate release “Cole Younger and the Black Train” co-starring with Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill 1&2) and writing and performing the title song “Outlaws and Trains”. The DVD is available in all national retail chains including Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Since then, Cody has completed the filming of two more feature length films, “Billy The Kid-I Just Might Live Forever” another Lionsgate western release for 2013, where Cody again penned the title song “I Just Might Live Forever” and the film “L.A. Dirt” featuring Michael Roark (“Magic Mike, The Following”) and Country Music’s’ Tracy Lawrence, chronicling the increasing popular world of dirt track racing. Cody has also written the title track for “L. A. Dirt” entitled “Let’s Get Dirty”.
In the Dirt Track world, Cody also sponsors a Dirt Track car. Driving a crate late model, #74, Craig Reece, from Dalton, GA also enjoys a very successful partnership with Cody. Craig won both Dixie Motor Speedway’s and Rome Motor Speedway’s point championship in 2012. Cody’s logo is featured on the hood of Craig Reece Racings’ Capital Race Car.
