Artisan Center Theater is looking for Stage Managers.

This is a Stipend position to the right candidate.


Stage Manager Job Summary: is a key position in any successful theater production. The position has a unique function because it serves the dual function of assistant to the director and production staff during the rehearsal period and then becomes the person in charge of the production during the actual performance.


Stage Manager Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Producer, Technical Associate and Production Staff during pre-production

  • Manages rehearsals under the Director and Choreographer

  • Sends updates to everyone on the Production Team

  • Manages the logistics of the artistic creation of the event and the production staff

  • Runs the show and oversees the cast and crew during the run of the event

  • Responsible for seeing that the event is executed within the vision of all artists involved

  • Works with the entire event team to maintain a positive, enjoyable, and rewarding environment for all actors and patrons

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned


Abilities and Qualifications:

  • Experience with a sound board and Qlab

  • Ability to work alongside and serve as a leader for the production staff

  • Possess a well-spoken manner in personal communications

  • Self-motivation and attention to details

  • Flexibility to work around Artisan performing hours

  • Be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment

  • Make good use of time and able to meet deadlines

  • Positive can-do attitude

  • Is a team player

  • Has personal and professional integrity and an exemplary work ethic – is a leader

Artisan Center Theater is looking for a Guest Services Representative. 

This is a part time position to the right candidate.


Guest Services Representative Job Summary: Job of the Guest Services Representative is to answer phones and help guests with ticket sales, orders, will call preparations, donations, season tickets and daily financial reports.


Guest Services Representative Responsibilities:

  • Work box office and take reservations on a daily basis

  • Pick up phone/email messages and return calls

  • Daily reconciliation of sales and close-out

  • Data base maintenance

  • Pre-show ticket prep

  • Attend Guest Services meetings 

  • Help with general office organization

  • Process season ticket orders 


Abilities and Qualifications:

  • Outgoing, friendly, helpful – ability to work well with people (good public relations skills)

  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task, track multiple projects

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Makes good use of time

  • Computer experience required

  •  A team player
