Capitol City Theater is closed to the public and will reopen after merging with The Space Concert Club as Infinity Room.

All previously advertised public events and classes are postponed or canceled.

To our valued patrons and friends,

We wish you good health, security, and peace during these trying times.

Things are changing everywhere and for everyone but especially for Salem's local comedy scene. We are shut down indefinitely to honor social distancing measures that have been set in place by the state.

BUT we have great news! Prior to the shutdown, we had been in talks with the leadership at The Space Concert Club about the future of our respective venues. We have made the exciting decision to combine our operations at CCT's downtown location.

Together we are Infinity Room.

When we're able to reopen, not only will be offering live, local Comedy and Improv but we'll be brining in Summer's excellent kitchen and The Space's live musical programming. Now delicious food, drink, comedy, and music will all live under the same roof - stronger than ever. As a team, we are still committed to providing a venue that can serve audiences of all ages.

You've been asking for more food and drink options for years and we heard you. We're so happy to come together to bring you the best of both worlds.

We cannot in good faith encourage you to purchase gift cards at this time. We do not want to take a loan from our patrons that we would struggle to repay. All gift cards previously purchased will be honored after the merger.

If you would like to help financially assist the theater pay it's rent while we prepare for this merger and are unexpectedly shutdown, we're accepting donations in any denomination here. (zoom in on mobile mode.)

Or you can Vemno us at @InfinityRoom

We thank you, our patrons and community, for your support during this unprecedented time.

For updates on the future of our beloved venue, keep in the loop at
Much love,

Julie Shadlow
