Laura Winters




is an NYC-based playwright. Gonzo received its first public reading at The Corkscrew Theatre Festival. Laura’s full-length play Emerson Loses Her “Miand” had a workshop production at the NY Winterfest. Her plays have been read at Dixon Place Lounge, The Barefoot Theatre Company, The Cherry Picking Festival and Redwood Day School and published in the inaugural issue of The Dionysian. She has also studied improv at iO Chicago, The Second City, UCB, and The Pit. Besides writing plays, Laura has self-published two intersectional feminist coloring books, EqualiTeam Saves the Day! and Her Highness Builds Robots. She received her BA in theatre with a minor in English from Northwestern University. While at NU, she was the head-writer of the 2014 Waa-Mu show.
