Sophie Andreassi




(co-choreographer) is a choreographer, director, and dramaturg who lives and works in New York City. Currently, she is assistant directing the world premiere of a new play by Terrence McNally, Fire and Air (Classic Stage Company), directed by John Doyle. Her dramaturgical work includes Two Person Operating System (NYU Institute of Fine Arts), choreographed by Susan Marshall. She also works as Susan Marshall’s company manager. She co-directed a concept music video, BEAST, with Graham Phillips and choreographed Once when he directed the musical at Princeton University. She co-choreographed and associate directed Pin* and the Blue Fairy (Drama League Residency), directed by Adin Walker. She appears as Dot in Grind Arts Co.’s video, Color + Light, and danced the role of Cathy in our reimagined production of The Last Five Years. She is also a frequent collaborator with Raven White. Sophie graduated from Princeton University magna cum laude with a major in History and minors in Dance, European Cultural Studies, and French. She trained in acting at Stella Adler Studio.
