“No Tune Like A Show Tune” is a small troupe created by Michael Berkeley several years ago. After years of creating “Diva” productions in the Tri-State region, Michael decided to create a smaller traveling version. Wanda Houston, and Frank Fasano have been a part since the beginning and they were thrilled to add Katie Weiser this year. Each year, Michael creates a new focus, this year being a celebration of award-winning songs from the Tonys, Oscars, Emmys, Grammys, and Country Music Awards.
MICHAEL BERKELEY directed/musical directed 40+ musicals for TriArts (Pine Plains, NY and Sharon, CT) during his many years as Resident Musical Director and Artistic Director. Recent credits include directing The Music Man and Rip! The Musical (Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck); Follies and Hello, Dolly! (Warner Theatre), music directing Billy Elliot (Thomaston Opera House), and Grease (Gateway Playhouse). Musical directing/conducting credits include the Far East tour of South Pacific and the US/Canadian Tour of Joseph... with Donny Osmond. Michael created musical arrangements for the critically-acclaimed Irving Berlin revue I Love A Piano, co-created with Ray Roderick, licensed by Rodgers & Hammerstein. FRANK FASANO studied at the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan and Musical Theatre at Queens College. Frank is a proud member of AEA, SAG, and AFTRA. Frank has performed in many venues including stock companies, touring companies, regional theater, dinner theaters, and off Broadway, as well as some film and television and an occasional voiceover. Recently, Frank was honored to be a featured performer at Carnegie Hall for the Turn Up The Peace World Concert Tour. He released his first album, a Christmas album, last year.
MARIA B. HICKEY’s theatre credits include Chicago (Mona Lipshitz), The Full Monty (Georgie), Falsettos (Trina), Tommy (Mrs. Walker), The Last Five Years (Cathy), Cabaret (Sally), Jekyll & Hyde (Lucy), Into The Woods (The Baker’s Wife), The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet), and The Marvelous Wonderettes (Cindy Lou). She made her off-Broadway debut in Paul Coleman’s The Footshooters (Ingrid), is currently freelancing as a vocalist with several bands, and can be heard on radio advertisements and audio book recordings.

KATIE NICOLE WEISER is thrilled to be performing today with Michael Berkeley and the “No Tune” team. Katie is a trained opera singer, and musical theatre performer. Katie spent the past few years performing and training in Europe. Most recently, she appeared as Mabel in “Pirates of Penzance” at the Sharon Playhouse, and will play Luisa in “The Fantasticks” next month at the Center for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, NY. “Michael, Pamela, and the team - thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of this special show.”
