UPDATE AS OF MAY 14, 2020:
Performances Postponed Due To COVID-19
Due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 crisis and out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety our artists and audience, we have postponed the remaining shows in our 2019-20 season. This includes performances of MATILDA (April/May 2020) and AN ACT OF GOD (June 2020).
Are the shows cancelled? Not necessarily. We are hoping to work with the cast and creative team to find another time in the future to mount these shows.
For our patrons that have already purchased tickets, you can reach out to our box office staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or 650-329-0891 regarding your options for your tickets. Like nearly everyone in the Bay Area, our entire staff is working remotely without access to critical tools to handle ticketing issues. We humbly ask for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times as you consider your ticketing options.
Honoring our financial commitment to the artists involved in these productions is very important to us, so please consider a donation to Palo Alto Players to ensure that we can fulfill that commitment. With the disruption in our programming Palo Alto Players is anticipating a revenue loss of more than $150,000. Even the relatively simple act of converting your purchased ticket into a donation would help tremendously. Please consider supporting Palo Alto Players to mitigate that loss.
We will get through this together, and as it has always been, live theatre will emerge stronger and more critical than ever. In the meantime, I invite you to stay connected with us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), where you'll find our latest news and small nuggets to keep our collective spirits up!
We are looking forward to our 90th Anniversary Season with cautious optimism and we can't wait to see you there. Be well, and we look forward to being together with you at the theatre soon.
