Karen Law (Development Associate)

Karen loves every opportunity to bridge different worlds. Classically trained in music, dance, and engineering, she aspires to define life success by the accrual of meaningful stories and human connection. She received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Stanford University and went on to work in technical and leadership roles in research, consulting, and corporate settings. In parallel, she is a performing artist, recently appearing onstage and in the orchestra for shows including Palo Alto Players’ Flower Drum Song, Sunnyvale Community Players’ Fiddler on the Roof, and South Bay Musical Theatre’s Thoroughly Modern Millie, as well as choreographing for various social dance groups in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Karen has discovered that there are few ways better than theatre to bring out the best in our communities. She is eager to meet you at our next show and invites you to engage with her anytime on this ever-relevant question: “Why is it that we need art?”
