Tim Owens (Leo Clark)
Tim has been involved with the PVPH since 1995, most recently appearing in last season’s production of “Clothes Encounters”. Tim and his wife, Denene, have two children, Beci & Matt, daughter-in-law April, and grandchildren Landon, Aimon, and Adelease. In his spare time, Tim enjoys reading, playing the trombone, singing and spending time spoiling the grandkids. Tim is employed as an engineer at Nebraska Public Power District.
Jamie Ferguson (Jack Gable)
Jamie has been involved in over 50 Platte Valley Playhouse productions as either an actor or director. He most recently directed last season’s farcical comedy “Clothes Encounters”, which is similar to so many of the plays he has been a part of over the last 30 years. Jamie also serves as treasurer for the Playhouse. He and his wife Sue have four grown children; Jenna, Hannah, James and Rebecca.
Dee is thrilled to be returning to the PVPH after a short break to bring two pretty amazing kiddos into the world. Previous PVPH roles include Wrong Window, Southern Hospitality, and she even tried her hand at directing The Kitchen Witches. Dee is the Marketing Director at Bank of the Valley and spends her free time enjoying her amazing husband Derek and two kids Dane and Delaney.
Steven Jones grew up in Columbus Nebraska and works at J. Patrick’s Tuxedos in Downtown Columbus. This is his second production with The Platte Valley Playhouse. He previously acted in the Playhouse production of Exit Laughing and before that with Columbus High School’s productions of Footloose, Children of Eden, and You Can’t Take It With You.
Emily made her first appearance on stage as Truvy in Steel Magnolias in 2015. Other shows she has appeared in include Once is Enough and Don’t Mention My Name. Emily teaches Psychology at CCC and indoor cycling at the YMCA. She is married to Ross and has two boys, Brady (7) and Bennett (4). Emily wants to thank her family and friends for their support!
This is Andy’s first attempt at acting since High School. He is enjoying the characters Moose, Frank, and Butch in Leading Ladies. Andy is a native of Shelby, NE and moved to Columbus is 2009 for business. He and his wife, Annette own the Annette Alt State Farm and VTS Video. They have three kiddos who have flown the nest; Aric, Aron, and Ashtin Alt. In his spare time he enjoys camping, fire pit therapy and of course, bud light can be a partner in crime. As a mechanic by trade he also enjoys tearing theings apart and putting things back together and always with much success. His career includes – CFO for Annette Alt Insurance and Financial Services Inc; Owner of VTS Video LLC; Driver and Diesel Mechanic for Kummer Trucking and Home Improvement Expert for his wife and adult children who have an endless list of projects.
Diane has been involved with the PVPH for over 30 years and is returning to the stage after several years. You can find her at the Platte County Courthouse where she serves as the County Clerk. The shows she remembers the most are Death Takes a Holiday and The Dixie Swim Club. She enjoys reading, planning her next vacation, spending time with her family and anxious for the newest member to arrive in November. She would like to dedicate this show to Mom and Dad who have the best seats in the house.
This is Stuart's fourth production with the PVPH. He works for Mead Lumber, and also directs the bell choir, and Sunday school music program at Federated Church, as well as playing alto saxophone for the Columbus Jazz Orchestra. Stuart and his wife Kristen live in Columbus with their three children: Reagan, 17, Riley, 12, and Reece, 10. Stuart would like to thank his family for all of their love and support.
