July 5 – Gospel Night --  Heart Friends, a duo from Cookeville, TN will headline Gospel Night, opening the Summer Nights concert series. Arlene Mason and Linda Crider have been singing together since 2013, sharing their music primarily in Tennessee and Kentucky. Their desire is to honor and praise the Lord through music and testimony.  The award-winning Appointed Quartet, a group from North Georgia near Chattanooga, will open the concert. Appointed Quartet has been using music to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ for more than five years. They have shared the stage with groups including The Mark Trammel Quartet, The Anchormen, Gold City and The Kingsmen, and appear regularly at Singing in the Sun in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and the Gatlinburg Gathering in Gatlinburg, Tenn.

July 12 – SONS OF BLAKE, a revival of the group DYLAN BLAKE from the Sequatchie Valley, will bring their mix of classic rock, blues, outlaw country, folk, and some clever original tunes to Summer Nights. They will take the stage at 6 p.m.

July 19 – As a kickoff to the Scopes Festival weekend, Summer Nights will feature Lon Eldridge and his band, The 9th Street Stompers, playing from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Lon has toured the United States and Europe with his unique blend of traditional pre-war blues, ragtime, and swing. His infectious musicality will offer a great start to the Scopes Festival weekend! At 7:30, we invite you to step inside the courthouse to see the opening performance of “Front Page News” this year. Tickets for "Front Page News" are available here.

July 26 – Rhea Springs Revival, a Rhea County favorite, will wrap up the Summer Nights series with a concert of their 70s and 80s Country and Southern Rock – mixed in with some of their original numbers.
