Something truly magical is happening at Thalian Hall this holiday season. Not one, but two showings of a much-beloved film will beckon families from all over the Cape Fear region. The iconic film is a Wilmington tradition shown as it was meant to be see: on the Big screen. This timeless tale, now digitally remastered, brings back old memories and creates new ones for children and grandchildren alike when viewed in majestic Thalian Hall.

As a result of the outpouring of support, we’ve received for this year’s showing of, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” on Thursday, December 21, we have an announcement, says Communications Director, Mary Jane McKittrick. "We’ve sold out the 7pm show! But don’t worry. Due to the overwhelming demand for this popular, classic holiday film, we’re adding an extra showing."
