Dear Friends,

At TOY, we know kids. We understand how they think.  We get what captivates their imagination. And we respect that their feelings and worries are real. We have five great stories in our 2016-2017 season.  In each one, young characters have to reckon with growing up challenges. Fancy Nancy has a big disappointment to deal with.  Junie B. has a decision to make. Widge, the Shakespeare stealer, fights to survive in London on his own. Charlotte, the spider, resolves to save Wilber, the pig. Elephant & Piggie try to be better friends. There will be singing and dancing, mermaids, sword fighting, talking animals, and Christopher Columbus' ships. Aren't you curious to see how all of that works out?

I have been told by grown ups, more than a few times over the years, that TOY reminds them what it feels like to see the world as children do.  I hope you will take time to share a story with your children at Theatre of Youth this season.
