Our 57th Season!

Update: March 15,2020

Dear Members, Patrons, and Friends of VTG

Dear Members & Friends of VTG,

It is with an abundance of caution and respect for the necessity of social distancing, that the Village Theatre Guild Board of Directors has decided to postpone the opening of our next production, Mothers and Sons (originally scheduled to open on March 20). Although we had hoped the season schedule could have continued as planned, we feel the risks for our members and guests are too great. The following revised schedule is planned:

March 16 - General Membership Meeting: Cancelled.

Mothers and Sons Revised Performance Dates:

April 17 (8 PM), 18 (8 PM), and 19 (3 PM)

April 24 (8 PM), 25 (8 PM) and 26 (3 PM)

May 1 (8 PM), 2 (8 PM) and 3 (3 PM)

May 8 (8 PM) and 9 (3 PM and 8 PM)

Daisy Revised Audition Schedule:

Sunday, April 19 at 7 PM.

Callbacks, if needed, April 21.

Daisy Revised Performance Dates:

June 19 (8 PM), and 20 (8 PM)

June 26 (8 PM), 27 (3 PM and 8 PM) and 28 (3 PM)

Weekend of July 4th No performances

July 10 (8 PM), July 11 (8 PM) and July 12 (3 PM)

July 17 (8 PM), July 18 (3 PM and 8 PM)

To simplify the changes in the performance schedule for those of you who already have tickets, your tickets have been reassigned to coincide with the sequence of the performance in the new schedule. For example, if you have purchased tickets for Opening Night on March 20, your tickets have been reassigned to the revised opening night of Mothers and Sons on April 17.

You will receive an email confirming the revised performance date for your tickets.

If you are able to attend the revised date for the performance you don't have to do anything but mark your calendar. If you are unable to attend the revised performance date corresponding with the tickets that you have already purchased, please send a message to and stipulate the revised performance date that you prefer.

We plan to reassess our plans regarding the COVID-19 status on or about April 10. If additional modification to our season schedule is necessary, we will contact you. In the meantime, rest assured that your friends at VTG will continue to monitor this difficult situation and will always proceed with your safety and health as our top priority. Hopefully, by April 17 the circumstances will have changed so that we can safely complete our season and that you can once again enjoy the quality performances that you have come to expect from VTG. Your continued support, patience and understanding are appreciated.

Sincerely (and with great optimism for a healthy and happy future),

John Vinopal, President
