Great West Life Neighbourhood Concerts

Great West Life's Neighbourhood Concerts are designed to bring Windsor and Essex County neighbourhoods together in celebration of what is most important to them. Led by WSO Assistant Conductor Daniel Wiley and often featuring a local soloist, these concerts typically feature a 14-piece chamber orchestra that fits perfectly in your church, community hall, or other gathering place for an hour-long concert.

Music to Celebrate With

Is your family, community group, or parish about to hit a milestone or recognizing someone important? The Neighbourhood Concert series will add joyful music to your event and help you celebrate in style. The WSO has celebrated with Holy Trinity Church for its 100th anniversary, played for Windsor Hospice to honour their volunteers, and entertained community groups at the Roma Club and the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village, just to name a few. We can even provide music for your family reunion, anniversary party, or other private event.

We can help!

If your organization is fundraising for a neighbourhood cause, we can help. We have collaborated successfully with various groups on such causes as the Belle Vue Conservancy, sponsoring Syrian Refugees, and more.

The sky's the limit - let us know how you would like to bring your neighbourhood together and we'll see how we can help. All neighbourhood concerts concerts must occur during the WSO's season, the last week of September through the first week of May.
