The “WSO at Home” Resiliency Fund
As the impacts of COVID-19 are felt around the world and dramatic lifestyle changes make people feel more isolated than ever, the WSO’s mission to connect the people of Windsor and Essex County through the power and passion of music has never felt more important.
With that in mind, the WSO has created a new series of online performances and programs to connect our community through music. We call it WSO at Home and we’ll be partnership with our hospitals, schools, libraries, and retirement homes to bring the WSO to you until we can gather again. We’re connecting patients and healthcare workers with Music for the Frontlines, Robert and Daniel are doing Read-Aloud with the WSO to read children’s books for the libraries and schools, we’re offering Music for Health to retirement homes, and Music Clubs for the Youth and Community Orchestras.
Please consider a donation to the WSO to help keep these programs going! And, right now, every dollar you donate will be doubled! Up to $16,000 in matching funds have been pledged by anonymous board members and supporters!
Thank you to all our sponsors, donors, subscribers, patrons, and community partners who empower the WSO to do work! Your support is instrumental!
